Chinwe started to worry as sat across from Zion in the BBNaija Season 9 No Loose Guard House, worry etched on her face.
During a casual conversation, she made known her concern, saying, “My period still hasn’t come,” her voice tinged with uncertainty.
Zion raised an eyebrow, remembering a similar conversation not too long ago. “Is this not how it did that time?” he asked, recalling the anxiety they both felt during the last delay.
Chinwe sighed but tried to sound hopeful. “I feel like it will still come sha,” she said, trying to reassure herself more than Zion.
It’s a familiar dance, the uncertainty that comes with a delayed period.
For many women, it’s a source of stress and endless questions: Is it just late, or is something more going on?
Chinwe’s experience is one many can relate to a reminder of the unpredictable nature of our bodies and the patience required in waiting for things to fall back into place
